Stonepillow is a charity who support and empower homeless and vulnerable people to achieve sustainable independence and wellbeing throughout West Sussex. This ranges from people who are Rough Sleeping, living in emergency and temporary accommodation placements made by local authority with many of the homeless community hidden; sofa surfing, sleeping in cars, vulnerably housed or at risk of eviction from their own accommodation. There is a pathway model of support which fits within the Stonepillow 5 Pillars. Prevention, Relief, Recovery, Resettlement and Restoration.

Stonepillow’s teams focus on supporting people to maintain a sustainable independence, improving health outcomes and facilitating recovery from addictions.

The charity is now seeking a new Community Services Manager to lead our outreach, hub and specialist teams to relieve homelessness and prevent cyclical or entrenched rough sleeping.  

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Management of Team Leaders and staff teams delivering services to contract requirements
  • High quality client-centred service delivery which ensure positive outcomes are achieved for our clients and community
  • Clear risk and health and safety management across the services
  • Hands on attitude and a collaborative approach
